Open Architecture Virtual Sensor
Agile, Adaptive, Intelligent

The Open Architecture Virtual Sensor (OAVS) solution is a configurable and modular sensor development framework that is designed support high-fidelity, physics-based modeling for prototype sensor design, test and evaluation. Unlike other bench-top sensor simulations, that OAVS sensors are designed to support 24x7x365 execution in a virtual world environment, thereby facilitating its use as a MSaaS, virtual world persistent asset (VWPA). Modifying and interfacing with OAVS sensor models is very simple via well-defined MATLAB, C++, and JAVA HLA/DIS interfaces. OAVS-derived sensors can be integrated with any simulation framework via HLA/DIS or custom interfaces and support frame times as short as 10 milliseconds in a distributed environment on a very modest hardware platform.

Modular Sensor Reference Architectures
Agile, Adaptive, Intelligent

Following the successful release of DAVIS Sciences Corporation's Open Architecture Virtual Sensor models, DAVIS Sciences is pleased to announce the next logical step in the evolution of sensor development, the Modular Sensor Reference Architectures.

The Modular Sensor Reference Architectures are designed to enhance your ability to respond to your customer requirements more competitively and with lower risks. The Modular Sensor Reference Architecture (MSRA) solution is a configurable and modular sensor development framework that is designed support prototype sensor design, test and evaluation. The MSRA sensors are fully supported by a model-based designed development framework. Modifying and interfacing with the sensor is very simple via well-defined MATLAB, C++, and JAVA HWIL interfaces. Like the OAVS sensor models, the MSRA-derived sensors can be integrated with any simulation framework via HLA/DIS or custom interfaces and support frame times as short as 10 milliseconds in a distributed environment on appropriate hardware platforms. The base sensor variant provides the architectural foundation to facilitate development by sensor architects and analyst. The development framework allows designers to concentrate on modeling the physics of their particular sensor, and more importantly, collaborate on the sensor design with a community of developers. The modular architecture enables HWIL integration, allowing components of the system to exist in the virtual domain, while sending and receiving data from physical hardware. Consistent with DAVIS Sciences mandate to facilitate the development of advanced sensors, at lower cost to the taxpayer, the OAVS platform is offered as an Open Framework to qualified development teams.

Intelligent Sensor Enterprises
Agile, Adaptive, Intelligent

The Open Architecture Service-Oriented Enterprise Solution (OASES) is a turnkey and scaleable enterprise framework that is designed to provide complete architectural flexibility as a Total Enterprise Computing solution. The base OASES provides systems integrators with an extensible platform for the seamless and secure integration of live, virtual, and constructive simulations, telemetered data streams, and additional all-source feeds. This base platform provides system architects with the infrastructure for the development of a wide variety of Enterprise Computing Architectures (ECA). These ECA's can range from simulation and gaming portals to scientific telemetry collection and analysis systems that provide stakeholders with a comprehensive common operational picture and situational awareness, in the virtual world, the real world, or both simultaneously.
